About Us

Axiometa is a small team of engineers and makers who enjoy building open-source hardware and modular electronics. We started this because we believe electronics should be open, understandable, and enjoyable not locked behind secrets or messy documentation. We care a lot about making good documentation visible and easy to follow. We also think that technical things deserve thoughtful design clear graphics, good UI, and simple ways to interact with complex ideas. We are still learning and improving, but we enjoy making simple things look good and stay accessible to more people.More than anything, we’re here because we love creating, exploring new ideas, and sharing what we learn along the way.

  • Povilas Dumčius - Founder

Povilas is an engineer with a background in electrical engineering and acoustofluidics, holding a PhD and BEng from Cardiff University. He has worked across research and industry, designing hardware systems like RF devices, IoT platforms, embedded electronics, and fluidics setups, often following projects from initial concept through to manufacturing.

He started Axiometa because he enjoys building things and believes even technical hardware can have an artistic side. Whether it is a PCB layout or a user interface, he wants it to look and feel clean, clear, and well-designed.

  • Chad Kapper – Co-Founder

Chad Kapper is an entrepreneur and investor who has launched brands like Flite Test, Rotor Riot, and HackMakeMod, all focused on making tech accessible and hands-on. While developing modular hardware for HackMakeMod, Chad met Povilas and saw that Paul had built the platform he always wanted… only better! Instead of competing, Chad joined Povilas to help take Axiometa further, faster.

At Axiometa, Chad drives growth strategy, content development, and key partnerships, always keeping user needs at the center. He’s focused on building real solutions that empower creators and future engineers.

  • Tomas Krukovski - Hardware Engineer

Tomaš Krukovski is an electrical engineer at Axiometa, where he designs and prototypes modular sensor hardware for educational and R&D use. His background includes working on STM32-based flight simulator controls, greenhouse monitoring systems, and designing battery segment modules for a Formula Student electric race car.

At Axiometa, Tomaš focuses on practical solutions that make electronics easier to build and integrate into learning and development platforms.

  • Rokas Bazys - Finance

Rokas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from ISM University of Management and Economics and a Master’s degree in Sociology from Vilnius University. He has 6 years of experience in the finance sector, specializing in investor relations and brokerage, and has spent the past 2 years as a finance executive in the startup ecosystem.

At Axiometa, Rokas focuses on securing government grant funding and ensuring that the open-source mission stays sustainable—even when manufacturing costs run high. His work helps keep Axiometa’s commitment to accessible, open technology alive.
